• “Is this war lawful?” — the question the Charter does not ask

  Asked point-blank whether a war is lawful, the engine refuses. Not out of caution: the Charter has no such predicate, and the model is not allowed to make one up.

• Article 2(4), asked in plain words

  A Member uses force to take back a disputed province. The question goes in as a sentence; what comes back is a rule of the Charter, its premises, and an answer that moves when one fact changes.

• The finding only the Security Council may make

  Asked to say whether a crisis threatens the peace, the model cannot — and the engine names who can. Article 39 is not a fact anyone may assert.

• An army that was never raised

  The Council authorises force and calls on a Member for troops. Must it send them under Article 43? The engine says no duty arose — and says exactly which missing fact is to blame.
